Scrappy Baskets

I love scrappy quilts...and this one had languished away for so many years.  And now she is finished! I love how she turned out.  It feels so good to FINISH!

It is the end of January and today is incredibly gorgeous!  I just went for a walk around the lake and it is 61 degrees, with lots of sunshine.

Lots of sewing going on this week...hope your week has been productive!

A new blog!

It's time to start a new blog that just deals with all the quilts Bella is busy laying around on...you know...that kitty seal of approval!  In 2015, I decided to make it my goal to have a quilt design of my very own published in a quilting magazine.  And it happened!
And So It Goes

Modern Quilts Unlimited accepted my quilt and it was published in the Fall 2015 issue!  I used fabric from Makower UK...Beth Studley's Walkabout collection.  I think my favorite piece of fabric in this collection is the one with the little feet all over it.  If any of you have made this quilt, I would love to see it!

More quilts from Yellow Cat Quilts will be showing up in upcoming issues of Modern Quilts Unlimited, McCalls Quilting and in the 2017 APQ calendar!  May I say I am thrilled?

You can also find one of my patterns for free on the Moda Bake Shop site....My Sisters Choice.

More to come!  I recieved a box of happy mail from Moda and I am busy creating another quilt for you!  Here is a sneak peek!

Now doesn't that make you think Spring is on the way????

Grace and peace....
